Updated February 18, 2025 US State life table series for years 1941-2022 (Note that life
tables for Alaska (AK), Hawaii (HI), Census Division 9 (Div9), Census
Region 4 (Div4), and the United States (USA) start with the year 1959).
** Disclaimer ** The series of 1941-2022 USMDB life tables were created
with provisional official US Census population estimates for the years 2010-2023 where only postcensal
estimation methods were used to estimate populations for years 2010-2019 despite the availability of
the 2020 decennial Census. These estimates will be replaced by official intercensal estimates sometime
in 2025*. Forthcoming updates to the USMDB will incorporate these estimates which will plausibly
create noticeable changes in all lifetable indicators from years 2010 onward.
