** Disclaimer ** The series of 1941-2020 USMDB life tables were created with provisional official US Census population estimates for the years 2010-2021 where only postcensal estimation methods were used to estimate populations for years 2010-2019 despite the availability of the 2020 decennial Census. These estimates will be replaced by official intercensal estimates sometime in 2023*. Forthcoming updates to the USMDB will incorporate these estimates which will plausibly create noticeable changes in all lifetable indicators from years 2010 onward.
